THE FAMILY OF HOTELS AT LAKE CONSTANCE
Grown up between laundry and prominent visitors of the parental hotel, Gabriela Ganter early felt attached to the host`s life. With heart, pleasure and a lot of commitment she spent half a life-time as a hotelier – always following the principle „stagnancy = backlog“.
In 1956 her father Friedrich Ganter already set the foundation of the Ganter Hotels. Today Gabriela Ganter runs the Ganter Hotel & Restaurant Mohren on the island of Reichenau, the Hotel 47° with the Friedrichs Restaurant in Constance and the Chalet vue au lac in Davos, with 2 holiday apartments.
Gabriela Ganter grew up in her parents’ hotel and learned how to be a good host as a child. Her motto is: If you stand still, you go back. She has been a hotel owner for 50 years and does her work with passion and joy.
Her father, Friedrich Ganter, founded the first hotel (Hotel Seeblick in Konstanz) in 1956. This hotel was later sold. Today, Gabriela Ganter manages three hotels:
